The console table features a Broccatello di Spagna veneered marble top that follows the profile of the structure, with 45-degree cut front corners. The frieze beneath the top consists of a section lacquered to resemble Verde Antico marble, and a double carved frame with egg-and-dart and dentil motifs in gold. Below, on a base lacquered to resemble porphyry, stand relief carved and gilded decorations with scrolling foliage and leaf motifs. At the corners, the carvings feature phytomorphic elements set within frames. Four legs originate from the corners, presented as Doric columns. From the characteristic capital, with volutes and gilded egg-and-dart carvings, taper and fluted columns, lacquered to resemble porphyry and gilded, depart in an inverted truncated cone shape. In the lower two-thirds of the column, a delicate carved and gilded decoration appears as leafy branches covering the shaft. The feet are spherical and made of lacquered wood. Festoons and garlands of carved and gilded wood in the shape of fruits depart from the capitals, contributing to the console's refined decoration and creating a sense of lightness. The mirror echoes the decoration of the console table. Rectangular in shape, it consists of a base of lacquered wood resembling Verde Antico marble, on which rests a carved and gilded frame. The other sides of the mirror feature, within gilded reserves against a background lacquered to resemble porphyry, the same ornamentation as the frieze of the console table: from vases in classical taste lacquered to resemble lapis lazuli with bases lacquered to resemble Verde Antico, scrolling vine leaves with gilded leaves originate, running along the entire perimeter. On the sides, two carved gilded wood decorations, with a volute centered by a flower that develops upwards into a large leaf, enliven the composition. The vertical sides of the frame conclude with elegant gilded capitals with volutes and leafy elements and garlands. The frame ends at the top with a carved frieze with reserves of gilded dentil and egg-and-dart motifs and a band lacquered to resemble Verde Antico marble. The console table and mirror present a very elegant and refined overall design. Highly decorative and with a striking visual impact, they are very bright and graceful, easily placed in any furnishing context, antique or modern, where they will bring the timeless charm of gold and Neoclassical taste. A small crack is noted in the upper left corner of the mirror. It is possible to purchase the mirror and the console table individually.
