Pair of walnut column cabinets, Piedmont, 19th century Measurements: cm H 88 x diameter 42 Price: confidential negotiations Object accompanied by our certificate of authenticity This elegant pair of column cabinets was made in Piedmont, in the 19th century. Made of solid walnut wood, they have an octagonal section that makes them look very similar to a column. The tops of the two cabinets are in different marbles: one is white marble, the other gray marble. The tops are bordered by a slightly projecting wooden reserve, which is then repeated inferiorly by the base. Each cabinet has a small upper drawer and a door, which conceals two large compartments separated by a shelf. These cabinets are particularly suitable as bases for displaying vases and cachepots, sculptures or other objects that you want to display on risers. They can be placed both in the center of rooms and near corners, both in living rooms and studies and in entrances or corridors. They can also be used as bedside tables, next to beds, or as cabinets in bathrooms. We note that the white marble has a fracture.
